College was awesome yesterday. During our break, Hannah, Rachel, Shona and myself tootled along to Morrisons again. We spent an hour walking around, chatting, being geeks. Hannah got obsessed with Michael Bublé, Shona and I flirted some (lol not srs flirtin obvs) and Rachel was just lovely ol' Rachel. Shona got us all some Pick & Mix, so that was nice, and Hannah got us some weird staring faces. Coz of her laugh. Hannah's laugh is immense, and unique. Thank God? Meh. It's bloody hilarious though! Eyy, 'twas all good :)

To top my day off, I worked from 7 til 10. And, for once, I was looking forward to it. Kelly was working on tills, and so was Nicola. Turns out, I barely saw Nic, but I got to chill with Kelly for the best part of 3 hours. It was odd because I was on menswear, but it made a change and it was loveleh and fun. Plenty of chatting and laughs.

My night spiralled downhill though when I got home. I just suddenly went from being in the best mood ever, to a stupid crying wreck. I had a really long talk with Kelly and even though I cried myself to sleep (rawrrr >_<), she did make me happy and it was okay. Woke up with blood-shot eyes today but it's reet init.

Today was a good day too. Yay ^_^

Lit, media, language. Then I had a break whilst everyone else finished. But they stayed. Hannah, Rach, Kristian and Shona went to a history workshop and Bryony had tutorial. So I toddled off to Morrisons again, and this time I was on a mission. After Hannah's mental obsessing yesterday, I decided to buy her two Mickey Bubble CDs. (I also got myself some Pick & Mix, but I won't go on about it coz you'll only get jealous :p). I'm gunna give them to her tomorrow - a) so she doesn't buy them herself and b) just to make her day a good one. We have Paul (lit teacher) teaching us language tomorrow anyway, so her day will be great. So, hopefully, I'll make it even better. Heee ^__^ Anyway. I'm not gunna wrap them. I'm just putting them in a bag. Mainly coz I want to see her face when she sees 'em. I've got this feeling Bryony will give me a "wtf" look. As may Hannah. But I'll just say it's an early Christmas present that I couldn't keep from her xD

So I'm dog-sitting and the doorbell goes. I go downstairs to answer it, as you do. A package is given to me.

I bring it upstairs and look again at the box...

Kelly was talking to me in French so I visited that website to see what she was saying. Admittedly, the site admits "this is only to get a gist of what is being said", but it still took the metaphorical biscuit...

I had a really loveleh weekend, chilling and doing nothing. No work, no shittiness, nothing. Just peace and quiet.

Last night, I spent about 3 hours writing a poem for Nicola. She wanted a note but I didn't know what to write. So she told me to write a song/poem instead. So here's the final result... I'm really proud of it =D

The Candy Cane Quest

Once upon a time in the Candy Cane town
There lived a candy cane Smurf and a candy cane clown.
They went for a walk down the Candy Cane Lane
And all of a sudden, it started to rain.

“Never fear, Mr Smurf,” assured the candy cane clown
As he pulled out a brolly from his candy cane gown.
The candy cane Smurf smiled, now delighted
As he hopped down the lane, all happy and excited.

Ten minutes later and they came to a stop
On the candy cane corner at the Candy Cane Shop.
Both of them entered, a one then a two,
“A candy cane for me and another one for you!”

Soon upon the exit of the friends from the store,
They came across a camel and a sheep and a whore.
They stared for a moment before going on,
They pretended it was normal, and soon they were gone.

A signpost stopped them for a moment in their tracks,
‘Haribo Heights’ or the ‘Town of Black Jacks’?
Turning to the left and smiling at the skies
They continued on their quest through ‘Jelly Baby Rise’.

The candy cane Smurf and the candy cane clown
Headed to the forest towards the distant sea of brown.
Through ‘The Galaxy Forest’ with trees made of lace
They tootled along at a nice steady pace.

The candyfloss clouds sailed gently in the breeze
As the candy cane Smurf produced a tiny blue sneeze.
The egg yolk sun appeared and the rain was no more
And out came a mint Skittle-coloured rainbow.

At the edge of the forest was a mini Malteser
Who introduced himself as Crunchie Ebenezer.
He took them to a station on the Fruit Salad Lane
Where they jumped aboard the multi-coloured Pick & Mix train.

Walking down the train past the Custard Cream carriage,
They witnessed Percy Pigs and a Gummy Bear marriage.
Arriving at the furthest from the first door they’d stepped through,
They entered a compartment with a Smartie and a cherry chew.

Smurf sat by the window and the clown by the door
And they lifted their feet up off the liquorice floor.
The train started moving on the treacle toffee track,
Their mission always onwards; never looking back.

The Curly Wurly wheels headed Northbound and fast,
And then Smurf got excited when a Flying Saucer passed.
Two hours later and the train came to a halt,
Smurf, clown and Malteser then heard about a fault.

“We can walk from here,” suggested clown to Mr Smurf,
“But Malteser will melt on this hot Fireball earth!”
“You go on without me – really, I don’t mind,”
So onwards they went leaving Crunchie behind.

Past Gobstopper Gardens and Buttered Popcorn Place,
The two friends decided that it was time for a race.
“Down Marshmallow Driveway and Fizzy Cola Street
To Fairy Cake Fountain – yes, that’s where we’ll meet!”

Passing Muffin Mansion and the Chocolate Orange Church,
They each grabbed a toffee from the tall Blueberry Birch.
Running as fast as their little legs could manage,
They were both rather equal as they neared Gummy’s Garage.

The clown took the lead - several inches now in front,
Smurf shouted to him, “I’ll beat you, candy cunt!”
Clown took offence and shed some Tutti Frutti tears,
Smurf apologised nicely – clown accepted saying “cheers!”

They both called it quits on the race that they’d created
And shared some Bertie Bassett sweets at a bus stop while they waited.
The Double Decker bus arrived soon shortly after,
And the candy cane friends jumped on and shared some laughter.

In the second row of the second Sherbert seats,
Sat a very jolly couple enjoying Flumps and kinky treats.
They walked down the aisle and averted their eyes
And waved nicely at a group of Oddies’ meat pies.

Clown rolled up his sleeve to check his butterscotch watch
As a Cherry Cola chav fired raisins at his crotch.
Smurf dived off the chair, avoiding the aim
And clown decided to beat the chav at his own game.

From his pocket came a Hobnob, then a lolly and a bun,
“Take that you bastard! Now who’s having all the fun?”
The Cherry Cola chav jumped up and cried in pain,
He leapt off the bus and down Jelly Bean Lane.

Coconut Crescent, down Refresher Lolly Row,
At Apple Bobbing Avenue, the bus began to slow.
Smurf and the clown paid two Pineapple Pounds
And exited at the corner of Golden Orange Grounds.

Haribo Heights was now a short walk away
So they both took advantage of the sunny Starburst day.
Gazing in the distance at the Milk Bottle Mountains,
Across the Bourbon Border beyond the Sweet Sherbert Fountains.

Past the Wine Gum Well and the Penny Sweet Towers,
The two friends snacked on M&Ms and tangy edible flowers.
Over Bubblegum Bridge and down through Raindrop View,
They came across a big blue sign – their dream had just come true.

Up on the gate, the words were plain and clear,
Haribo Heights – “yes, we’re finally here!”
Smurf rang the bell and the friends just paused,
Suddenly a voice boomed out ... “I’m sorry but we’re closed!”
